And so this is Christmas..

Wow!I don't even know what to say.I mean it seems like only yesterday that I was making plans for 2010.Now 2010 is almost at an end.I have been trying to take stock of 2010,sort of a personal review mechanism and plan for 2011.What I realised was that God has been good to me this year and it has been a great year. This year I have learnt several invaluable lessons on life and I am really happy to have made it this far.
I have learnt, among other things,to bee patient and persevering but also to know when to let go.I have learnt to communicate more effectively this year and I have learnt the value of hard work.Above all else,I have learnt that God is faithful and HIS Grace will always be sufficient for me and for you as well.
As we spend Christmas and enter a new year, try and do a review of your year.Find out what you have learnt and where you have failed, but do not forget to count your blessings, for not everyone has got the opportunity that you have.Make use of every opportunity without wasting time because before you know it,the time for action will be past.
So what to say finally?Merry,Merry,Christmas and an Amazing new year!Don't forget to spread some cheer around this Christmas.Ciao!

Alternative sources of Income

So you have gone to school, completed your tertiary education or you are acquiring a higher qualification.Or maybe you are working for someone and receiving an income.Either way you have needs that seem to surpass the income you get.Maybe you are looking for a job but you don't seem to be getting any offers(or the ones you are getting are not the ones you want).I have got great news for you.You don't have to keep looking for that job anymore! How?I hear you asking.Well, I am going to be disclosing this to you in my next series of posts(unless I happen to meet a corrupt policeman or something like that!).
Today I am going to try and help you understand that it is possible to make money from home or run your own business with very low capital and great returns every month(or weekly, daily,...it depends on you!).
The first alternative source of income I am going to dwell on is working online.Did somebody just ask how it is possible to work online? It is very possible.I have been doing that for a while now and it really is true. You can get a job as a freelance affiliate marketer online and get paid for whatever you do. Browsing, face booking, checking mail......it is your choice.
If you would like more information about working online send me an email or leave a comment on this blog.
Online freelancing(or elancing) is a great legitimate way of making good money but it falls under the category of active income in the cash flow quadrant. This is a concept that was given by Robert Kiyosaki of Rich Dad, Poor Dad fame.If you don't have too much information about the cash flow quadrant then don't worry I am about to explain it to you.The simple diagram below summarises it for you.

Most millionaires or financially comfortable people make their money from passive income, however, so active income online is only going to take you so far. What if I told you-you could make both active and passive income online?

I know some of you are finding this difficult to believe but it is very true. In this day and age, instead of spending all your time online just hanging out, what if some of that time could get you some income? And what if I told you that it doesn't involve multi-level marketing, buying products or selling to friends?
The system I currently use is a combination of several offers to maximise my passive income earning capabilities.
In order to determine which of the tried and tested offers you want to use, some self-evaluation is required. Opportunity one is a done for you affiliate marketing system while opportunity 2 doesn't require you to sell anything. You will invest money and get an interest daily. I use both because I earn money with affiliate marketing that I can invest for good returns in opportunity 2.

Opportunity 1: Affiliate marketing
An affiliate marketer is paid to promote a product or service. You will be paid a fixed commision to promote a product or service to others. This option is great for those who want to own their own business without actually making a product or keeping inventory. There are many ways to earn an income as an affiliate marketer, but getting started can be overwhelming. That's why I have done the research and tried several systems in order to find the best ones for beginners. I recommend going here to find out more about what system I recommend for complete newbies. This system provides you with website templates, email manager, autoresponder series, follow up, hosting and training on exactly how you can make an income as an affiliate marketer.

Opportunity 2: Invest and reap returns passively
After making a little money in opportunity 1, I invest my earnings here. My reason is simple. Cryptocurrencies are the fastest growing financial market instruments and are creating millionaires daily. Instead of leaving my money to sit unused, I invest some of it monthly in this system and earn a guaranteed interest rate every day. Its low risk and I can take out my earnings whenever I want. This system is completely FREE to use. Learn more about it here and sign up for your free account if you want to join our team and learn how to retire from your job in less than a year. We will help you start and show you how we're doing it.

If you want to do both of these, like me, just enter your email address and I will be in touch with instructions and help.
Bonus offer: If you sign up for both, I will pay you a bonus once you get your first investment set up. This offer is limited to the first 10 people so hurry! Click here and just enter your email.

Getting better and better....

I try my best to be as fair as possible in my posts so today I am going to dwell on something I find commendable. The Ministry of Environment, Science and Technology in Ghana has initiated a new scholarship scheme to support students in the area of maths, science and technology studies. It is for both pre-tertiary and tertiary students studying any subject under the broad category.
The scholarship covers the tuition fees for the recipient for the academic year of the scholarship award.I think that this is a laudable initiative the ministry and government as a whole and needs to be commended.
However there are just a few basic issues that need to be sorted out with respect to the method of application.According to press releases from the ministry,a certain number of forms was made available to the district education offices all over the country.Interested applicants were to pick up the forms from the district offices and submit them back to them. However according to first hand information from the district directors of certain districts, they did not receive any forms. Some districts also received forms for only pre-tertiary students. Now the questions that beg asking include:
1.Do prospective applicants pick forms from their districts of origin or from the district in which their educational institutions are situated?
2.Are scholarships awarded based on merit only or district of origin only or both?
3.Are the scholarship quotas for each district the same or different? If they are the same, did the ministry take size, population, economic background and percentage of youth in school for each district into consideration?
4.Are children or direct dependents of ministry officials and district education officials qualified to receive this scholarship?
5.How was it that some districts did not receive the forms?
If someone has answers to these questions I would be very happy to hear them. For now it would seem that the scholarship forms were kept by some officials in the various district offices and given out to only their relatives and friends.
If this scholarship is to serve its purpose, some of these challenges need to be addressed. The Northern regions of Ghana have some of the most serious developmental issues in this country. The percentage of the populace educated up north is less than that for most of the southern regions, and yet a lot of districts in the north did not even receive the scholarship forms. If we are not interested in regions of origin of applicants, then the forms need to be made available online for easy access to anyone who is interested.
I hope that the administrators of this scholarship will sort out some of these issues before the forms are made available next year.

Oppressors in our midst.

Once upon a time Ghana was under colonial rule.In fact,we were not called Ghana but The Gold Coast by our colonial masters. They ruled over us in every way possible-our educational system, our government, our economy, everything was controlled by them.Even though we were fully capable of managing our own affairs, we were not allowed to do so.And then one day, some illustrious sons of Ghana said,'Enough is Enough. We want to take care of our own affairs.Go back to your country and take care of yours'.So after quite a hectic struggle(including imprisonment!)they decided to let us go.Ghana became an independent country in 1957.
Now I wasn't there but I can just imagine the sense of frustration and helplessness and frustration those under colonial rule must have felt, knowing their rights and privileges were not being respected but being unable to do much about it.It took acts of civil disobedience and a few other demonstrations to make sure that our rights would be respected as a country.
It has been over 50 years since Ghana attained independence, and yet even today there are citizens of this country who feel this same sense of helplessness and frustration everyday. How?Some police officers have decided to turn themselves into 'colonial masters' and trample over the rights of the ordinary Ghanaian.I know not all police officers are corrupt, but the ones who are have become like lords who cannot be challenged into doing their jobs.
Let me give a classical example. When a policeman(or woman) demands for a bribe and the person in question refuses to give the bribe(or gives an inadequate amount) the person's license can be seized until the police officer gets what he/she wants. Why must it be this way?Why can't they just do their jobs?If they feel that the pay they are receiving is not enough, they should quit and look for jobs that give them the money they want to receive! After all, were they not hired and trained to protect us?Why must they then turn into our oppressors?!
The National Anthem has a line that goes like this:
'...and help us to resist oppressors' rule with all our will and might forevermore'.
As patriotic citizens I think that the next time a law enforcement officer tries to 'oppress' us by demanding for a bribe we should refuse(especially if the law is on our side).Even if we have broken the law,I think we should be willing to face the consequences of that rather than paying off the officers supposed to enforce the law. After all,no judge is going to throw you in jail for having an expired driver's license! We need to stop trying to find convenient ways of settling issues instead of going the right way.
As for the police officers involved in this act,I want them to remember the principle of sowing and reaping. If they don't know it,they should read their Bibles and understand that what goes around must surely come around!

First Order of Business...

Hi.Welcome to my blog.My name is Yvonne and this blog is like the proverbial horse where wishes are concerned.I will post on what I think I would like to do if I were the President of Ghana for just one day.I mean His Excellency John Evans Atta Mills is doing well but with me in charge we will do great! This blog is not for partisan politics but pure politics.I am letting my imagination run wild on all kinds of issues from the 'big' ones to the seemingly unimportant ones.So join me.Imagine with me, if you will,Ghana..........

WITH NO SPITTING IN PUBLIC!!!!
Yeah, yeah, yeah I know that we have pregnant women around but seriously I doubt the TroTro driver I saw doing it this morning(and messing with my ability to enjoy a seriously powerful breakfast)is pregnant.I mean come on HE WAS A MAN!Wait I don't think I have told everybody that story(well maybe a few Ejobs Africa trainees).I was going from Anloga Junction(in Kumasi) to Asokwa(ALSO in Kumasi) with a taxi.I was having a chat with one of my team members in Dynapharm(we will talk about it later) and enjoying it tremendously too.It was about making money with Dynapharm so it was quite interesting.
So there I was at the back of the taxi talking with my friend and something stopped me mid sentence. There was a grown man driving a trotro in front of the taxi and he just cleared his throat, opened his mouth and sent a nice sputum sample(as my Practical lecturer will say) straight onto the street.I just froze(seriously) and then I went like 'Hey he can't do...'.
Before the sentence ended another went splat a few feet away from the first.I just stopped, staring into the back of the driver's head hoping he would turn around but he didn't.I wished there and then that there was a law against public spitting in Ghana.I mean we can't have people going round destroying hard earned appetites(it is not easy to work up an appetite you know!) and marketing all sorts of disease germs to others(free of charge I might add).
I mean at least if they are going to market their sputum and all the probable germs in it on the streets( we are fighting to make nice) then shouldn't they pay some advertising fee or something like that? What do you guys think?
